What you get for 200 DHS

A qualified instructor, a board and a wetsuit that fit you, a shower and a locker with a key afterwards. Nothing about the beach, the equipment or the coaching is different from the more expensive lessons — the only difference is how many people share the instructor.

Who a group lesson suits

People trying surfing once to see what it is like, solo travellers who would rather learn alongside other people, and anyone on a budget. It is sociable, and in a good group it is the most fun of the three lessons.

When to choose something smaller

If you are nervous in the sea, short on time, or booking for a young child, the extra attention of a semi-private or private lesson is worth more than the saving. We would rather tell you that before you book than after.
